The University of Massachusetts Boston (also known as UMass Boston) is one of the well known public research university in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a part of the prestigious University of Massachusetts systems and is nationally recognized as a model of excellence for urban public universities The UMASS Boston is part of the. UMass Boston is just a 10-minute subway ride to downtown Boston with its scenic water front campus spread over 120 acres. The campus comprises a campus centre, university hall, Wheatley hall, science centre, McCormack Hall, Healey library, administration building, service & supply building, integrated science complex, athletic centre, east residence hall, west residence hall, and west garage. The students are provided with all the required facilities at the campus. Many restaurants and cafes are nearby the campuses. Also, it is close to many departmental stores  and shopping centre’s. Public transport is easily available from the campus.

There are eleven schools and colleges at UMass Boston: the College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Mathematics, School for the Environment, College of Management, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of Public and Community Service, College of Education and Human Development, John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies and Global Studies, School for Global Inclusion and Social Development, Honors College, and College of Advancing and Professional Studies (CAPS). More than 2,000 international students from more than 150 countries around the globe study here on international visas.
