|Need Based||As the name suggests, need-based scholarships are awarded to candidates who belong to financially weaker sections. This kind of scholarships is awarded to candidates to allow them to complete their education in spite of not being able to meet the financial requirements|
|Athletic scholarships||These are for students who excel at their sport. Athletic scholarships are common in the United States, but in a majority of countries they are rare or non-existent.|
